CDP CLIMATE RATING
In 2022, Kongsberg Automotive (KA) has participated in the international organization CDP’s climate rating project, for the sixth time. Every year, CDP analyzes several thousand companies worldwide regarding their strategic approach to the challenges of climate change and rates their climate management activities based on a comprehensive list of criteria.
KA was awarded again a C (“Awareness”) in the Climate Change 2022 rating, confirming that the company is transparent about climate issues and aware of its impact. CDP awards company ratings from A (“Leadership”) to D (“Disclosure”).
By taking part in the CDP rating, KA aims to further develop its energy and CO2 reporting based on recognized standards. At the same time, the company is responding to calls from customers and investors for greater transparency and comparability in its reporting on CO2 emissions and is also demonstrating its progress in climate management.

CDP is a not-for-profit charity that runs the global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impacts. The world’s economy looks to CDP as the gold standard of environmental reporting with the richest and most comprehensive dataset on corporate and city action.
ECOVADIS SUSTAINABILITY ASSESSMENT
KA has already voluntarily undergone several EcoVadis assessments. In its March 2023 assessment KA was awarded 53 points (“Advanced rating”) and thereby reached bronze status. The assessment results are shared with the company`s customers via the EcoVadis platform.
