KONGSBERG AUTOMOTIVE WINS CONTRACT EXPANSON WORTH EUR 20 MILLION (NOK 152 MILLION)

Kongsberg Automotive (KA) has been awarded a contract expansion worth EUR 20 million (NOK 152 million) for a contract for the supply of fuel lines and air suspension lines to a major premium passenger car manufacturer. This brings the total value of the contract to EUR 46 Million (NOK 350 Million) over the next 5 years.

“This contract expansion demonstrates the value KA and the Fluid Transfer team provides to our customers, through both existing and new innovative technology solutions”, says Jonathan Day, Executive VP for the Fluid Transfer business area.

The production is already running at KA’s facilities in Epila, Spain and Normanton, UK and this expansion will be added to the current production.

The Fluid Transfer business in Kongsberg is addressing 3 key market segments; commercial vehicles, industrial applications and premium passenger cars. KA sees growth potential within all of these three segments.
