Norway Top 100 Ideal Employers 2014
Kongsberg Automotive wins the prestigious “climber of the year” prize among engineering students
Kongsberg Automotive has jumped nine positions in the annual student survey “Norway Top 100 Ideal Employers 2014” since last year. This qualified to the prestigious “climber of the year” prize among engineering students.
The Branding Agency Universum asks over 10,000 Norwegian students every year about their preferred place to work.
“The results of this study give us an indication of whether we are successful in the fight to attract the best talent”, says Jarle Nymoen, Executive Vice President Human Resources.
Kongsberg Automotive is now ranked as number 39 on the list of the most attractive employers in technology in Norway, an improvement from earlier years.
“We have succeeded in targeting our marketing and communications at some key student groups. Our long term commitment to various student projects, including Revolve NTNU, and our collaboration with rally cross driver Petter Solberg, have given results”, says Nymoen.
The results of the Universum study also tell that students associate Kongsberg Automotive with vehicles and motorsports, and that the company is “cool” and “exciting”.
Kongsberg Automotive has a strong business culture and clearly defined values which correspond with these associations.
