Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI)

Kongsberg Automotive (KA) is since 2023 member of the Reponsible Minerals Initiative (RMI). With more than 500 member companies, the Responsible Minerals Initiative is one of the most utilized and respected resources for companies from a range of industries addressing responsible mineral sourcing issues in their supply chains. RMI provides companies with tools and resources to make sourcing decisions that improve regulatory compliance and support responsible sourcing of minerals from conflict-affected and high-risk areas.

KA uses the guidance and tools provided by RMI KA to identify risk exposure and to communicate with suppliers. This process supports KA’s downstream business partners and customers in fulfilling their human rights due diligence obligations.
