He set his course for Kongsberg Automotive in Jundiaí in Brazil, and started out in December 2009.
In addition to getting a job that was matching my education and experience, I also saw that I would be able to participate in Kongsberg Automotive’s constant drive for improvement. I met a company that I perceived as open and honest. I wanted to work with a company open to new ideas, focusing on quality and growth. Kongsberg Automotive is definitely a company that I feel I can grow together with
He is now on a 2 years expat contract. He currently works as a research and development engineer at Kongsberg Automotive’s Centre of Technology in Heilighenhaus, Germany, or mechanical gear shifters. “I already feel that my ideas are being listened to, and as such my passion for my job is growing as well”, says Luciano.
Luciano likes to keep fit, and enjoys both running and soccer. He plays defender on the local Kongsberg Automotive Soccer Team once a week. “I am also a backpacker kind of guy, and enjoy the outdoors together with my wife”, he tells. Luciano is becoming fluent in yet another language, as he is taking German classes. A few years back he had to learn French, while working in France.
I use the learnings from my time as a trainee every day
